The position
ScorePlay is currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer, you will be reporting into the CTO, but working closely with our Account Executives (AE’s) to support the technical aspects of the sales process, ensuring our clients fully understand the potential of our platform.

Responsibilities
- Technical Sales Support: Partner with AEs during client meetings to provide technical insights and address inquiries about ScorePlay’s platform capabilities, integrations, and customization options.
- Media Workflow Design: Collaborate with clients to design tailored workflows that optimize media distribution and management using ScorePlay’s platform, particularly focusing on scalability, efficiency, and ease of use. Work with sales and tech teams on architecture diagrams for clients.
- RFP/RFI Support: Supporting the sales team with templating and drafting RFP and RFI requests from scratch and facilitating what should be turn key and what should be customized.
- API Integration & Customization: Assist clients with API integrations and customization requests to ensure seamless deployment and compatibility with their existing media systems. Work with the tech to help them decide how to prioritize strategic integrations. Help ensure the team has all the right documentation and access to start development.
- Demonstrations & Prototyping: Lead live product demos and build prototypes to demonstrate the flexibility and power of the platform, particularly for broadcasting and media distribution in sports.
- Client Solutions Architecting: Work alongside the product and engineering teams to design and recommend technical architectures and infrastructure tailored to the client’s operational needs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the technical liaison between the sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure the client's voice is heard during platform updates and development.
- Documentation: Provide detailed documentation for clients, outlining the architecture, implementation, and workflow customizations designed for their needs.
Desired candidate profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in broadcasting, media engineering, or media workflow development, particularly within the sports industry.
- Strong understanding of media distribution processes, content delivery networks (CDNs), and the technical aspects of live broadcasting.
- Proven experience working with APIs, media asset management (MAM), or broadcast solutions.
- Technical proficiency in file formats, video/audio codecs, and cloud-based media solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex media workflow issues.
- Passion for sports and understanding of sports media workflows, including live event broadcasting, post-production, and content syndication.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into layman’s terms for diverse stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- High attention to detail, particularly when designing and troubleshooting media workflows.
- Familiarity with the EMEA market and experience working with European and/or Middle Eastern broadcasters or media clients is a plus.
