Sales Manager Sales (Calls/Site Visits) & Event Management

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager with a background in event management to lead our sales efforts through proactive client engagement via calls and site visits. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in event sales a proven track record of building client relationships and the ability to close deals. This role involves managing the entire sales process from generating leads to securing contracts for event management services.
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Client Engagement:
- Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calling emails and followup communications.
- Conduct site visits with clients to showcase venues and event spaces explaining the features and benefits that meet their event needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business.
- Present tailored event proposals and solutions that meet client objectives and close deals efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Event Management Sales Expertise:
- Leverage event management experience to understand clients event requirements including budget scope and specific needs.
- Work closely with the event planning team to ensure seamless communication and transition of information after sales closure.
- Stay informed about trends in the event management industry such as new venues technologies and event formats to offer innovative solutions to clients.
- Attend industry events trade shows and networking opportunities to generate leads and build connections.
- Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Track and report on sales performance including the number of calls made site visits conducted and deals closed.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of client interactions proposals and contracts using CRM software.
- Prepare regular sales reports to provide insights and recommendations for improving the sales process and achieving sales goals.
- Collaboration & Team Leadership:
- Work closely with the marketing and event planning teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Provide input into pricing promotional strategies and marketing materials to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members offering insights and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in event management with a focus on calls and site visits.
- Thai and Good English Speaker
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of the event management industry including event planning venues and client needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple clients and sales processes simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Word Excel Outlook).
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Sales Marketing Event Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience working with corporate clients event organizers and venue management.
- Strong network within the event management industry.
