Job Description
Architect to join our team. This position involves working closely with senior architects and contractors to assist in the design development and execution of architectural projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers site teams and consultants to ensure alignment on project specifications and requirements.
- Material Submittals: Prepare review and manage material submittals to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
- Shop Drawings Production: Lead the production of detailed shop drawings ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of shop drawings and material submittals providing constructive feedback to maintain highquality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all technical documentation and correspondence related to project development.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases.
- Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients consultants and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture specifically with a focus on largescale fitout projects.
- Proven experience in material submittals and shop drawings production and review.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials particularly in a contractor setting.
- Proficient in architectural software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit SketchUp) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
