We are looking for an enthusiastic and detailoriented Communications Assistant to support our communications team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and disseminating effective communication materials enhancing our brand presence and engaging with our audience across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases newsletters and other communications materials.
- Support the development and implementation of communication strategies and campaigns.
- Maintain and update the companys website blog and social media platforms to ensure content is relevant and engaging.
- Conduct research and gather information to support communication initiatives and storytelling.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public relations efforts.
- Aid in organising events including press conferences meetings and community outreach activities.
- Collaborate with team members to edit and proofread content to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Respond to inquiries from media and the public in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous internship or relevant experience in communications or public relations is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with graphic design software and content management systems is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
