Job Description
The Engineering Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety compliance of control systems through the design and execution of test procedures. This position involves reviewing and preparing electrical hydraulic and pneumatic controls drawings while collaborating with engineering teams to evaluate components materials and suppliers. You will maintain process integrity and assist various engineering disciplines by providing timely information. This role also includes performing periodic audits troubleshooting breakdowns and implementing process improvements to keep equipment operating efficiently.

- 1st shift schedule: 6AM/7AM3PM/4PM Monday to Friday with every other weekend required

Responsibilities
- Confirm control system functionality and safety compliance through test procedures
- Prepare and review electrical hydraulic and pneumatic controls drawings
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate components and suppliers
- Maintain integrity of process and build data collection
- Provide information and support to manufacturing and process engineering disciplines
- Perform periodic audits and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
- Request supplies and define preventive maintenance plans
- Manage supplier development and delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with electrical controls in an automotive environment
- Proven troubleshooting skills in pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Experience in preventive maintenance planning
Education Requirements
- High school diploma required

Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical controls within an automotive environment
