Job Description
We are looking for motivated selfstarters to come join our team at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in our Staff Cafeteria. Develop your skills as you interact daily with colleagues and leaders and open the door to endless opportunities with a luxury hotel brand whether you are looking for a future career in Culinary or in Guest Services within Food & Beverage.
What you will be doing:
- Consistently offers professional engaging and friendly service
- Assisting Chef and culinary team with light preparation duties in the kitchen
- Restock clean dishes flatware and trays
- Replenish condiments and food items in the salad bar
- Sweep and mop floors
- Unpack supplies and store items accordingly
- Perform duties such as sing stacking and moving dishes to the dishwashing station
- Report any colleague comments or concerns to ensure the interest of better guest satisfaction
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
- Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications :
Your skillset includes:
- Selfmotivated with the ability to make effective decisions
- Demonstrates initiative and the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
- Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly stand and walk for the duration of the shift. Ability to perform regular bending lifting reaching and carrying
