Tasks

We are starting a dedicated team responsible for the production environment of our generative design engine. In this position you will:

• Implement new features (conceived and prototyped by the research team) into robust memory and performance optimized versions and deploy them into production.
• Closely collaborate with the research team to gain deep understanding of the prototyped algorithms and help them in crucial algorithmic design decisions.
• Review and increase stability and performance of the already existing set of algorithms.
• Maintain the production environment (bugfixes packages updates ).
• Be the owner for the release schedule of the production environment (plan and release all patch minor and major releases).
• Oversee the codecoverage and quality of the automated test framework (implemented by the QA team).

Requirements

For this position we are looking for a passionate person who is bringing the following to our team:

• Background in computer science software engineering and 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python C and SQL.
• Proven track record in algorithmic development.
• Handson experience with training and deployment of machine learning and deeplearning models
• Handson experience with traditional optimization algorithms (continuous as well as combinatorial) and sound knowledge of data structures.
• Industry experience in memory and computational complexity optimization.
• Industry experience in parallelization multithreading and GPU acceleration.
• Industry experience in multiservice architecture environment.
• Experience with API integrations and open source software.
• Experience with Cloud Services InfrastructureasCode (Terraform) Docker and familiarity with Linux systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
