Job Description
Project Overview:
This role is part of a Turing integration project at AG where the Infrastructure Solution Architect will support the migration of applications from Turings infrastructure to AGs.
The project requires a detailed understanding of infrastructure architecture application integration and security to ensure a smooth migration. The migration study should be completed by 2027 covering 16 applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify and Analyze Modules: Review various infrastructure modules evaluate tools and assess how modules work together within the integration architecture.
- Security Evaluation: Address security requirements ensuring appropriate protocols identification authentication and firewall settings are in place.
- Architectural Design: Develop highlevel architecture strategies focusing on integration and migration especially concerning Windows and cloud environments.
- Documentation and Communication: Translate technical requirements into clear actionable documentation in English and communicate effectively with the team to facilitate understanding of migration strategies.
- Application Migration Strategy: Conduct application migration by identifying optimal methods like rehosting while minimizing application modifications.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with team members specializing in cloud data and general cloud management (Office 365) to drive the migration process.
- Presentation and Design: Create presentations (PowerPoint) and technical designs (Visio) to communicate architectural plans and migration strategies.
Requirements
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments
- Knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft Teams
- Strong networking experience with knowledge of protocols firewalls and security fundamentals
- General knowledge of security protocols authentication and network security
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure especially Windows and cloud integration
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments
- Soft Skills:
- Effective communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences
- Quick learner who can assess applications swiftly and translate requirements into actionable migration plans
- Strong organizational skills for detailed documentation and process adherence
- Effective communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences
Additional Requirements:
- Languages: Fluency in French (required); documentation is in English; Dutch is a plus
- Software Tools: Proficiency in PowerPoint for presentations and Visio for architectural designs
