Job Description

Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Manager
Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years
Compensation: $71000 $85000 (based on experience)

Position Overview:

Our client has an immediate need for a skilled and serviceoriented Facilities Maintenance Manager in Tulsa OK. The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of 30 maintenance technicians who manage 41 buildings including both administrative offices and student housing. This role requires strong people skills to manage a multigenerational team and proven experience in maintaining complex properties with technical knowledge of HVAC plumbing electrical and boiler systems. Reporting directly to the Director of Facilities the ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership technical expertise and a collaborative approach to support the campuss infrastructure needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead develop and mentor a diverse team of maintenance technicians to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance energy management and landscaping operations.
  • Manage maintenance of HVAC plumbing electrical painting and repair systems across the campus buildings.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards compliance and sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate building services security and space planning.
  • Conduct regular inspections plan long and shortterm projects and maintain KPIs for facilities performance.

Qualifications:

  • Management Experience: Minimum of 3 years in facilities or property management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Expertise in managing HVAC plumbing electrical and repair systems; boiler experience is essential.
  • Functional Experience: At least 3 years of relevant handson maintenance experience.
  • Proficiency in project planning team building and leadership with demonstrated success in facilities management.
  • Experience Level: MidSenior
  • Education Level: Associate Degree
