Job Description
Location: Pine Island New York

Reports to: Josh Lask
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations ensuring efficient processes inventory management and a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will lead a team optimize logistics and implement best practices to enhance productivity and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Supervise and train warehouse staff fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Schedule and assign daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational goals.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control processes including receiving storage and dispatch.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock levels to minimize discrepancies.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Plan and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct safety training and regular inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Utilize technology and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory shipments and warehouse activities.
- Prepare reports for management on warehouse performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects 50lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to stand walk and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
