Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic HighJump Developer/QA person to join our clients team. This role
combines quality assurance testing and development responsibilities playing a crucial part in
ensuring their software meets high standards of quality and usability.
Responsibilities:
HighJump Development (50%):
Develop and maintain software applications using K1 Architect Web Pages and MS SQL.
Work closely with QA testers to understand the endtoend processes and requirements.
Implement features and fixes that enhance the overall user experience.
HighJump/Koerber Development: Highlevel development and support of the WMS system.
Technical configuration of the solution using HighJump/Koerber1 tools.
Software development in MS SQL Server for HighJump/Koerber1 Warehouse Management
Systems (WMS).
Conduct complex queries in HighJump/Koerber1 WMS using SQL.
Verify coding by performing unit testing and support QA testing.
Code specifications by converting logical sequence and workflow into program language.
Meet programming standards by following production productivity quality and customer
service standards.
Inform on best practices and standards as they relate to the BRS iteration of
HighJump/Koerber1 One.
Provide root cause and resolution for persistent system issues relating to
HighJump/Koerber1 One.
QA Testing (50%):
Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify and document defects.
Utilize K1 servers Web Terminals and Supply Chain Advantage for thorough testing
processes.
Collaborate with the automation team to develop a system for regression testing.
Understand user perspectives to ensure software solutions are not just technically sound
but also userfriendly.
Tech Stack:
QA Tools: K1 servers Web Terminals Supply Chain Advantage SQL (as a plus).
Programming Languages: K1 Architect Web Pages MS SQL.
Qualifications:
Experience in manual testing with a goal to employ automation within the year.
Proficiency in K1 Architect Web Pages and MS SQL.
Strong understanding of software development and QA processes.
Ability to see applications from the users perspective and improve the user experience.
Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
HighJump/Koerber Expertise: Knowledge of all base HighJump/Koerber1 processes and
translating business requirements/project plans into solutions.
Experience in technical configuration using HighJump/Koerber1 tools.
5 years developing solutions within HighJump/Koerber1 tools (like Webwise Advantage
commander workflow engine advantage architect solutions).
5 years of MS SQL Server Development and ability to write SQL Server Stored Procedures.
Indepth knowledge of WMS Shipping & Logistics.
Experience in production support.
Strong knowledge of fulfillment center process flows best practices around picking
packing replenishment order waving receiving put away and RF Technology.
Experience with freight and label software preferably Creative Logistics Solutions (CLS)
and Bartender label printing solution.
Experience managing printing and SSRS reports in the workspace.
Experience with SOAP and REST protocols XML and Web Service/API calls
