Job Title: MidLevel Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced MidLevel Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Maryland. This role will involve managing geotechnical engineering projects overseeing project schedules budgets and invoicing as well as communicating with clients and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience a Masters degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical concentration and an EIT or PE license (or ability to obtain PE).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee geotechnical projects including schedules budgets invoicing and client communications.
- Scope and Budget Preparation: Develop work scopes budgets and proposals for geotechnical projects.
- Field Exploration Coordination: Plan and coordinate field exploration including site reconnaissance.
- Soil and Rock Analysis: Perform soil and rock classification and coordinate laboratory testing.
- Engineering Analysis: Conduct geotechnical engineering calculations modeling and develop design parameters and recommendations.
- Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive geotechnical engineering reports and deliverables.
- Client and Team Collaboration: Engage with clients both existing and potential and work closely with other departments and team members.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Masters degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Experience: 10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
- Licensing: EIT or PE license or eligibility to obtain a PE.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in writing and reviewing technical reports.
- Drivers License: Valid license with an insurable driving record.
- Local Travel: Ability to travel locally to project sites.
- Communication: Strong verbal written and electronic communication skills with clients and team members.
