Job Description
Summary: St. Michael Medical Center is Looking for GASTROENTEROLOGY Hospital Coverage to perform procedures provide inpatient rounding and consultations

RATES:
Malpractice Must be included in rates.
Orientation half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours
Hourly BR BR Per hour not OT
Holiday Must be 1.5x the regular rate. Per holiday hour no OT
Nightly Call BR86 BR95 Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis
Holiday Nightly Call BR79 BR Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis
On Call (Daily) BR BR Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
24 Hour Holiday Call Rate BR BR Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
Call Back BR BR Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Holiday Call Back BR BR40 Per holiday hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
Shift start and end times Monday Friday 85pm. Callweeknights 24 hr weekends.
On site 85pm...inpatient rounding procedures and on call.
Off site after hours...holding the pager and responding to GI urgent needs.

Facility Location: St Michael Medical Center

Duties:
FTE: full time
Required Procedures: EGD and Colonoscopy
Average # of procedures/day 68
Do you require locums to perform ERCP or EUS Preferably ERCP

Patient types: GI Endoscopy patients adults inpatients on call patients

Support Staff: nursing staff
Reason for Coverage: provider retiring
Dealbreakers: No new graduates. Locums who cannot provide 7 consecutive days/mo.
Travel Preferences (see attachment for specific travel guidelines):
Preferred Lodging: none. In the event that the CommonSpirit Health preferred hotel is not available hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market.
Air Travel: BR50/round trip cap
Rental Cars: BR5/day all in cap (including taxes and fees) regardless of car class.
Mileage: IRS Standard Rate

Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation. Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.

Hospitalists (sound physicians) admits to inpatient and GI consults.
Requirement description : **MUST NOTATE ALL DURING NAME CLEARS TO AVOID BEING REDIRECTED**
- Board Certified REQUIRED
- Active WA license or IMLC(LOQ in hand/must upload during name clears) REQUIRED
- Completed Gastroenterology Fellowship REQUIRED
- Malpractice Clean Preferred
- Availability at time of name clear REQUIRED
- ACLS/BLS/DEA REQUIRED
