We are currently looking for a Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager. He/She ensures the availability of materials and supplies to managing costs and optimizing inventory levels the role of a Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager is multifaceted and critical.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock outs or excess inventory.
2. Monitor inventory levels and track inventory movement to identify potential discrepancies variances or issues.
3. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (such as sales operations and accounting) to forecast Inventory needs and establish inventory targets. 4. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials goods or products to meet production or customer demand.
5. Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing favorable payment terms and favorable contract terms
6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers vendors and other external partners to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
7. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the accuracy and integrity of inventory level costs and performance metrics.
8. Utilize inventory management software and systems to track and monitor inventory levels costs and performance metrics.
9. Analyze inventory date and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations to management on inventory control strategies and purchasing decisions.
10. Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing processes and procedures to streamline operations reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Sufficient knowledge in Purchasing and Inventory Control Management
- Requires a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field.
- At least 58 years experience as Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to effectively.
- Analyze inventory data and identify trends patterns and opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problemsolving negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions. Knowledgeable of supply chain management principles inventory control techniques and purchasing best practices
