Job Description
As an Investor Relations Specialist you ll play a pivotal role in managing highstakes communications between fundraising companies and potential investors. You ll be the linchpin in nurturing relationships that could lead to significant investment deals handling everything from initial inquiries to coordinating pitch meetings. This role offers a unique blend of relationship management strategic communication and project coordination in a fastpaced everchanging environment. You ll gain invaluable insights into the fundraising process work with diverse startups and interact with highprofile investors making this an ideal position for someone looking to build a career at the intersection of finance technology and communication.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of inbound investor inquiries promptly and professionally
- Skillfully triage responses distinguishing between rejections and interested parties
- Provide tailored information packages including pitch decks and company materials to potential investors
- Coordinate and schedule calls or meetings between investors and client companies
- Maintain meticulous records of all investor interactions in CRM systems
- Collaborate across multiple client accounts ensuring personalized and timely communication
- Assist with strategic outbound investor engagement initiatives as needed
- Adapt communication style to suit various investor profiles and preferences
- Contribute to the overall success of client fundraising campaigns through proactive followups and relationship nurturing
Requirements
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proven track record in appointment setting sales
- Selfmotivated with strong time management and prioritization abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential information
- Proficiency with CRM systems and relevant software tools
- Understanding of the fundraising process and investor relations (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work fulltime Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM UK time
- Adaptability to handle multiple client accounts and changing priorities
- Enthusiasm for the startup ecosystem and investment landscape
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for building rapport quickly
