The role purpose of a UX/UI/Product Designer is to create intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing digital experiences that meet user needs and business objectives. This role involves understanding user behavior, conducting research, and translating insights into effective design solutions. The primary goal is to optimize the user experience by combining usability, accessibility, and aesthetics.
Job Description:
- User Research and Hypothesis Translation:
- Conduct user research to gather insights.
- Translate research findings into actionable hypotheses.
- Iterate designs based on hypotheses in an experiment-led culture.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with business, development, creative, and marketing teams.
- Effectively communicate design concepts and decisions to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate on ideation, strategy, and execution of UX/UI projects.
- Data-Driven Design:
- Utilize data insights to inform and justify design choices.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to iterate and optimize designs.
- Incorporate analytics and metrics to measure the success of design solutions.
- Design Systems Management:
- Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Document design guidelines, components, and patterns for team reference.
- Evolve design systems based on user feedback and industry best practices.
- Testing and Prototyping:
- Create interactive prototypes and mockups for user testing.
- Conduct usability testing sessions and gather feedback.
- Present walkthroughs of designs to stakeholders and incorporate feedback iteratively.
- Alignment of Business Goals and User Needs:
- Align UX/UI strategies with business objectives and user needs.
- Proactively propose optimizations to improve the user experience.
- Balance business goals with customer-centric design approaches.
- User-Centric Design and Design Thinking:
- Apply user-centric design principles throughout the design process.
- Utilize design thinking methodologies to empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test.
- Advocate for the user's perspective within the team and organization.
- SCRUM Team Collaboration:
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure design requirements are met within sprint timelines.
- Adapt designs based on feedback and changes during sprint cycles.

- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and a clear understanding of UX/UI principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions.
