Job Description

Roles and responsibilities


Position: Customer Segmentation Analyst

Location: Kuwait City, Al Asimah

Type: Full-time

Overview:

Customer Segmentation Managers focus on analyzing customer data to identify meaningful segments and patterns that inform targeted marketing strategies and personalized messaging. They use data analytics tools and techniques to uncover insights that drive customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Segmentation:
  • Analyze customer data from various sources, including transactional data, demographic information, behavioural data, and CRM systems, to identify distinct customer segments.
  • Utilize statistical methods, clustering algorithms, and predictive modelling techniques to segment customers based on shared characteristics, preferences, and behaviours.
  • Customer Profiling and Persona Development:
  • Create detailed customer profiles and personas for each segment, capturing key attributes such as demographics, psycho-graphics, purchasing behaviour, and life-cycle stage.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each segment's needs, motivations, pain points, and preferences to tailor marketing campaigns and product offerings accordingly.
  • Segmentation Strategy and Targeting:
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop segmentation strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Identify high-value customer segments with the greatest potential for revenue generation, customer lifetime value (CLV), and loyalty.
  • Campaign Optimisation and Personalization:
  • Work closely with marketing teams to design targeted campaigns and promotions that resonate with specific customer segments.
  • Implement dynamic content, personalised messaging, and recommendation engines to enhance customer engagement and drive conversion rates.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor the performance of segmentation-driven initiatives and marketing campaigns, tracking key metrics such as customer acquisition, retention, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate insights, trends, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Continuous Improvement and Experimentation:
  • Proactively seek opportunities to refine segmentation models, improve data accuracy, and optimize targeting strategies through experimentation and iteration.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in customer segmentation and data analytics.

Desired candidate profile

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical techniques.
  • Experience in marketing analytics, segmentation, or data analysis roles.
  • Understanding of customer behavior and preferences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in marketing automation, customer segmentation, or digital marketing roles, with a work using Emarsys.
  • Proficiency in Emarsys's marketing automation platform, including experience with segmentation tools, automation workflows, and dynamic content.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze campaign performance, and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience in developing and executing segmentation-driven marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, SMS, and push notifications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous optimization and improvement.
  • Emarsys certification or training is a plus
