Job Description

Job Title: Test Technician II
Location: Moline IL
Duration: 12 Months Contract/Temp with the possibility of extension
Shift Details: 1st Shift

Job Description:
1. Set up Dynamometers for electric motor and/or inverter testing.
2. Perform inspection and test as necessary to determine the cause of defective electronic assemblies with instruction.
3. Rework products per company and industry standards.
4. Build test harnesses loads and circuit boards to support product design as required.
5. Document and maintain records relating to work performed.
6. Inform the supervisor of process or design problems and assist in the corrective action.
7. Communicate with others professionally and effectively.
8. Design and build engineering test fixtures.
9. Perform other associated tasks as required by their supervisor and manager.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: A.S. in Electronics a twoyear technical diploma equivalent military certification or equivalent experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one year of related experience in electronics manufacturing or engineering is required; three or more years of related experience is preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of personal computers spreadsheets and word processing
Understanding of manufacturing processes and electronic components
Possess a thorough understanding of diagnostic equipment and methods e.g. multimeters oscilloscopes etc.
Handson experience troubleshooting to identify root cause
Ability to read intermediate engineering documents e.g. schematics or diagrams
Maintain necessary product records and documentation
Ability to comprehend and use product/process component datasheets
Ability to assemble and disassemble products
Ability to maintain lab equipment
Ability to perform mechanical work
Ability to train an Electronics Technician I
Ability to work with minimal supervision

PREFERRED SKILLS:
1. Ability to solder
2. Strong mechanical aptitude
3. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and electronic components
4. Experience in one or more of the following areas:
3D Printing Electronics Electrician/Electrical Contracting High Voltage Electrical Safety Electric motor repair Onroad/offroad Automotive Repair Communication/Networking hardware Computer repair Robotics Automation Mechatronics HVAC Farming
