Job Details:
Dont need all to have all 3 public cloud or programming languages:
Experience utilizing a public cloud sector (Azure AWS GCP) Azure is preferrable but fine with either AWS or GCP
Scripting experience with modern scripting languages (python GO PowerShell) and tools (versioning GitHub Ansible) as well as experience utilizing REST APIs JSON and YAML
Nutanix is nicetohave.
VMware and Acropolis Hypervisors nicetohave
Position RequirementsWhat we are really looking for:
Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer or similar role in a largescale environment. Experience in the planning design deployment and support of LAN/WAN/SDWAN/Spine and Leaf and IP architectures.
Indepth knowledge of networking protocols hardware and software solutions including deploying network services and protocols such as TCP/IP OSPF BGP LAN Switching Technologies NextGen Firewalls (Fortinet preferred) and Load Balancing (F5 preferred) etc.
Extensive experience in traditional route/switch Wireless technologies VPN SSL DNS DHCP and ISE.
Conduct network security assessments & recommend remediation actions. Handson experience with network security. Design and maintain security controls for network infrastructure. Enhance security monitoring and detection systems to identify abnormal behavior.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead projects and teams effectively.
Experience utilizing a public cloud solution (Azure AWS GCP)
Prior experience working with industry network tools: monitoring (Splunk NetScout Zabbix) management (Prime ISE Aruba Central) inventory management (Netbox IPAM) and DNS solutions. Design and implementation experience related of DDI (DNS DHCP IPAM) solutions will be preferred.
Scripting experience with scripting languages (python GO PowerShell) and tools (versioning GitHub) as well as experience utilizing REST APIs JSON and YAML.
Experience with multiple hardware/software platforms such as:
Cisco
Fortinet
F5
NetScout
Nutanix (or other hyperconverged technologies)
VMWare and Acropolis Hypervisors
Education and/or Experience:
4 years of network architecture design and/or solution engineering of data center
2 years of network design or administration involving cloud infrastructure AWS Azure Google etc.
2 years of scripting or coding experience with one or more languages
8 years of relevant IT experience in large/complex IT architecture environments
4year degree in IT related course of study
Preferred Professional certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP etc.).
