Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying evaluating and recommending solutions to HVAC plumbing electrical and fire protection systems design and layout issues
- Study plans and blueprints to determine feasibility of design
- Make recommendations on equipment selection including product type size capacity thermal efficiency energy efficiency and cost
- Review and perform calculations to determine energy efficiency equipment capacities heating and cooling requirements and code compliance and compatibility
- Review electrical and plumbing system plans and blueprints to determine feasibility of design
- Review and recommend equipment selection including product type size capacity thermal efficiency energy efficiency and cost
- Review and recommend HVAC/plumbing/electrical/fire protection systems and design modifications
- Review and make recommendations on equipment selection including product type size capacity thermal efficiency energy efficiency and cost
- Review and make recommendations on HVAC plumbing
- Develop design and implement integrated electrical fire safety and security systems
- Conduct evaluations inspections
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering related to mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a mechanical engineer
- Proven history of delivering high quality mechanical design
- Solid understanding of mechanical design processes materials and construction techniques
- Understanding of building code regulations and standards
- Masteral Degree is Additional points
