Position Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to work as the primary engineering representative and liaison at a nuclear power plant. This role involves engineering management field coordination and oversight of project activities to ensure successful execution of nuclear power plant projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong engineering leadership skills and significant nuclear industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Liaison: Act as the primary representative for Project Engineering Management serving as a field liaison between the client and engineering group to ensure effective communication and project execution.
Engineering Management & Supervision: Provide engineering guidance to subordinate staff enforce company and project policies and serve as a client interface to ensure project success.
Project Planning & Execution: Plan and manage work activities to meet safety quality schedule and budget requirements. Demonstrate project leadership and proactively address potential issues.
Task Delegation: Supervise and delegate tasks among staff monitor daytoday activities and resolve project problems or seize opportunities by analyzing issues and developing solutions.
Resource Coordination: Incorporate the resources and capabilities of other groups into project organization as needed.
Scope Management: Ensure a clear understanding of project scope work requirements and contract compliance.
Status Reporting: Support or conduct formal project status reporting and presentations for clients and management.
