Department: Office of Children and Family Services.
Description: Expert to design and develop/code with the development team for the Facility Application and Management System (FAMS). FAMS is the system of record for all licensed and registered day care providers in NYS.
Responsibilities:
- Work in coordination with a team of developers to write the new Facility Application Management system in ASP.net MVC.
- Work with Business Analyst on analysis and logical design.
- Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs.
- Perform complex VB.Net coding.
- Assist with responding to CCFS data requests.
- The individual in this position will work under the direction of a Technical Lead Project Manager & Software Architect.
- Perform writing of complex stored procedures/triggers in an Oracle database utilizing PL/SQL.
Required Skills:
- 84 months experience guiding the technical aspects for complex applications utilizing NTier architecture.
- 60 months experience in designing and developing applications using WPF.
- 84 months experience with PL/SQL writing packages stored procedures and triggers.
- 48 months experience developing applications utilizing Web Services or WCF.
- 12 months experience designing and developing mobile application on IOS Android Windows using Xamarin.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree.
