Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Interventional Radiology Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will support physicians by providing highquality imaging and assisting in a variety of minimally invasive procedures. This role requires a high level of technical skill excellent patient care and the ability to work efficiently in highstress situations.
Duties
- Prepare and position patients for IR procedures ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment including fluoroscopy angiography and CT.
- Assist physicians during procedures by providing imaging support and troubleshooting equipment.
- Monitor patients vital signs and respond to any changes or complications.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in electronic health record systems such as Epic or Meditech.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
Experience
- Minimum 1 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Tech in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Experience with fluoroscopy angiography and other advanced imaging equipment.
- One year of diagnostic imaging experience.
- Experience in interventional radiology and/or Cath lab preferred.
- One year of pediatric imaging experience preferred.
Requirements
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Current Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency MRTBE license
