Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of the supply chain process by coordinating with suppliers, logistics, and internal departments
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
  • Prepare and analyze reports related to inventory, procurement, and supplier performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Maintain up-to-date records of orders, deliveries, and supplier information in the ERP system
  • Participate in the negotiation of contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement
  • Resolve any issues related to deliveries, quality, or other supply chain disruptions
  • Provide support and insights during the development of forecasts to meet production demands
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to procurement and supply chain activities
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and ensuring adequate supplies are available to meet demand.

  • Order Processing: Coordinating the processing of purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

  • Supplier Coordination: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, and resolving any issues related to delivery or quality.

  • Logistics Coordination: Overseeing the logistics and transportation of goods, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in good condition.

  • Data Analysis: Analyzing supply chain data and metrics to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions.

  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.

  • Skills:
  • Proficient in supply chain management software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain best practices preferred
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to establish favorable terms with suppliers and service providers.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
