overview
As an MRI Technologist you will perform diagnostic MRI exams under general supervision. Your responsibilities include verifying patient identity explaining procedures reviewing images participating in process improvement and providing imaging education. This is a fulltime position based in Detroit MI.
Key Responsibilities
Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
Explain procedures to patients including risks and benefits.
Review images document exceptions and communicate data to radiologist.
Participate in process improvement activities within radiology practice.
Provide imaging education to residents student technologists and new employees.
Able to take call/standby as required.
Schedule and Shift Details
Days Afternoons or Rotating shifts available. 8 or 10 hour shifts. Rotating Weekends OnCall required.

Associate degree or higher
Meditech MRI Medical Records and nbsp;(1 years)
Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
ANY and nbsp;of the following valid licenses/certifications:
CPR certification is accepted in addition to BLS
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
