Continuously expanding knowledge of renewable energy technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
Project Leadership: Leading engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
Technical Expertise: Providing technical guidance and expertise in specific engineering disciplines, troubleshooting complex issues, and offering innovative solutions.
Design and Development: Collaborating with team members to design, develop, and test engineering solutions, products, or systems.
Team Management: Mentoring junior engineers and other team members, fostering their professional development, and ensuring high performance within the team.
Stakeholder Communication: Interfacing with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
Quality Assurance: Implementing quality control processes and standards to ensure the integrity and reliability of engineering outputs.
Documentation: Preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, reports, and project plans.
Research and Development: Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate best practices and drive innovation within projects.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field
Minimum 7 years of experience in business development or sales in the renewable energy industry
Strong technical understanding of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and energy storage
Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Familiarity with project finance, contract management, and industry regulations
Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in the relevant engineering discipline (e.g., software engineering, mechanical design, electrical systems).
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex engineering challenges effectively.
Project Management: Experience in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills to guide teams, motivate members, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
