Production Planner:
Job Overview:
The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing efficient production schedules that maximize efficiency and minimize costs while ensuring timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience launching a new plant and assisting Engineering and IT team for system changes in the ERP systems including routes stock areas part numbers assembly codes and BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Release and manage production work orders and raw material orders in accordance with MRP Kanban signals and production plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management Business or a related field.
- 46 years of experience in production planning scheduling or a related role within a manufacturing environment with a strong background in Production Control Inventory Control or Purchasing.
- Prior experience in inventory control and master scheduling is required.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as EPICOR JDE Oracle or SAP as well as advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Kanban FIFO and inventory management principles.
- Knowledge of APICS LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Experience working in a combined officefactory environment.
- Advanced English language skills are essential for communication with international teams.
