Job Description

Production Planner:

Job Overview:

The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing efficient production schedules that maximize efficiency and minimize costs while ensuring timely delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience launching a new plant and assisting Engineering and IT team for system changes in the ERP systems including routes stock areas part numbers assembly codes and BOM (Bill of Materials).
  • Release and manage production work orders and raw material orders in accordance with MRP Kanban signals and production plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management Business or a related field.
  • 46 years of experience in production planning scheduling or a related role within a manufacturing environment with a strong background in Production Control Inventory Control or Purchasing.
  • Prior experience in inventory control and master scheduling is required.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as EPICOR JDE Oracle or SAP as well as advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Kanban FIFO and inventory management principles.
  • Knowledge of APICS LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience working in a combined officefactory environment.
  • Advanced English language skills are essential for communication with international teams.
