Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients with various medical conditions that affect their mobility and daily functioning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients regain movement and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering physical therapy care and interventions as directed by the supervising physical therapist.

Guide and educate patients and their caregivers on exercise routines to enhance recovery.

Demonstrate empathy and understanding of patient needs adapting care to accommodate individual differences.

Recommend adjustments to treatment plans that prioritize patient safety comfort and progress.

Utilize the latest research and techniques to restore function reduce symptoms and prevent injuries.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of physical therapy services.

Collect and document patient data to ensure comprehensive care.

Track patient progress and update medical records accordingly.

Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of care delivery.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in physical therapy.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Strong knowledge of physiological best practices and therapeutic standards.

Handson experience with therapeutic exercises functional training and physical modalities.

Excellent communication and patient instruction skills.

Proficiency in healthcare administration and documentation.

Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification.

Associates or Bachelors degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Physical ability to lift over 40 lbs.
