remotepeople islooking for an experienced and highly capable Sales Head to lead the overall sales activity for the Packaging Board division in a rapidly growing company. This is a newly created position to help us meet both our short and longterm business objectives offering an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the Board business within the company.
As the Sales Head you will be responsible for driving all aspects of sales operations from strategy to execution ensuring the business meets its targets in revenue customer satisfaction and market expansion. You will lead a dedicated sales force across key international markets developing relationships with key customers and transitioning from traditional product sales to a more solutionbased approach. With a focus on strategic growth and team leadership youll play a pivotal role in shaping the companys global success in the packaging board industry.
Location:
This position is based in Singapore and will report directly to the Global Commercial Head Packaging Board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Manage the overall sales activities for the Board business including setting sales budgets allocating resources and overseeing sales operations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers driving business growth and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement sales policies standards and procedures to ensure the quality and costeffectiveness of the Board business operations.
- Team Development: Establish and lead a global sales force in key international markets. Motivate mentor and grow the team to achieve both short and longterm goals.
- Market Expansion: Identify and develop a strong customer base to drive business growth while leading the transition from productfocused sales to a solutionsbased approach.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with crossfunctional teams to align sales strategies with the companys overall commercial objectives.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of commercial management experience in Board products or closely related sectors within the packaging value chain.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing sizable commercial operations at a regional level for exampleEMEA markets.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the packaging market including product dynamics and customer needs with a strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership in building managing and developing highperforming sales teams. Youll be handson resilient and excellent with numbers.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal writing and presentation skills. Proficiency in English is essential; the ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to remote sites and sales locations as required to ensure the success of the team and business.
