Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Junior Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Platform Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining our platform infrastructure. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn and grow your skills in data engineering Java Python and AWS technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and implementing scalable and reliable platform solutions.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Contribute to the development and deployment of Java and Pythonbased applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Stay uptodate with the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in software development or IT operations.
- Strong understanding of data structures algorithms and programming paradigms.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java Python or similar).
- Experience with AWS services (EC2 S3 Lambda etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data engineering tools and technologies (e.g. Apache Spark Kafka Airflow)
- Experience with cloudnative development and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts
