A Client is looking for a Starburst Engineer to join their team in New York NY.
Responsibilities:
- Develop configure and maintain Starburst data queries to support analytics.
- Optimize data queries for performance and scalability.
- Integrate Starburst with various data sources such as SQL and cloud storage.
- Collaborate with BI and data engineering teams to ensure data availability.
Qualifications:
Required
- Strong experience in SQL and data query optimization.
- Handson experience with Starburst or Trino/Presto.
- Familiarity with data lakes cloud storage and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) is a plus.
Preferred
- Proficiency in Python or Java for automation.
- Knowledge of distributed data systems and data architecture.
