Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive clinical excellence through leadership of both Medical/Surgical and ICU departments
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient care quality and outcomes
- Lead and mentor nursing teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and CMS regulations
- Manage departmental operations including staffing budgeting and resource allocation
- Drive clinical components of utilization review and process improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians staff patients and families
- Oversee staff education competency development and performance management
- Implement and monitor infection control standards and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Current Utah RN license or eligible for licensure
- Strong foundation in Medical/Surgical or ICU nursing with proven leadership experience
- Track record of successful clinical team leadership and mentorship
- Experience with Joint Commission accreditation and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvements and patient satisfaction
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across departments
- Current BLS ACLS PALS certifications
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred
