Responsibilities:
- Provide remote support to end users in all aspects of a functional corporate network including Microsoft Windows Network connectivity WiFi connectivity Printing Mobile Device Management Office 365 Azure AWS etc.
- Remotely Configure and troubleshoot computer hardware software systems networks printers and scanners. These can be inhouse networks or Office 365/Microsoft 365 Networks.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Remotely diagnose troubleshoot and resolve issues by politely questioning customers about the issues they are facing.
- Provide remote administration and enduser support for Office 365 / Gsuite. Perform administration and maintenance of production servers and workstations.
- Perform remote administration and maintenance of network devices like switches firewalls access points etc.
- Perform installation and maintenance of Threat management systems like Antivirus Content management and UTM devices.
- Monitor Data backup and recovery operations remotely.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all procedures solutions and user guides.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of an internal knowledge base.
Requirements:
- Education:
- A Bachelors or Masterss degree in IT CS or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- 35 years of experience in the relevant domain.
- Technical Skills:
- Handson experience with computer systems mobile devices and other tech products.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Handson experience with Windows/Mac OS environments.
- Basic networking knowledge (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
- Experience in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 AZURE and AWS
- Experience in Managing and administrating firewalls
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patience and a customeroriented approach.
- Certifications / Training:
- M365 certification is a plus.
- MS Windows Server Training is a must.
- MS Exchange Server Training is a must.
- CompTIA A or ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in shifts including nights and weekends if required.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
