Job Description
Job Timings: Mon Fri 6 PM 3 AM Pakistan time
Job Location: Pakistan (Remote)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed accurate and comprehensive manual test cases based on product requirements and specifications. Execute these test cases thoroughly ensuring every feature and edge case is evaluated with an emphasis on userexperience validation and regression testing.
- Lead the creation and refinement of manual testing strategies ensuring efficient test coverage prioritization of test scenarios and continuous improvement of manual testing processes.
- Actively identify document and prioritize defects during manual testing. Collaborate with the development team to ensure bugs are addressed in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure thorough rootcause analysis for complex issues discovered manually.
- Implement and maintain automated tests using Selenium Playwright or similar tools to complement manual testing ensuring reliable and repeatable results across various environments.
- Set up and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) configure networks and handle storage for testing purposes. Perform testing on remote machines leveraging Azure infrastructure.
- Conduct testing on a wide variety of operating systems and browsers to ensure the product works consistently across all platforms (e.g. 10 different OS variants).
- Log track and report bugs efficiently using standardized defect management tools ensuring that issues are properly documented and resolved.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups sprint planning and story reviews. Work closely with developers and product managers to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Be aware of and assist in load testing and security testing efforts to ensure application performance and resilience under stress.
- Support release deployments ensuring that highquality features and endtoend scenarios are validated before going into production.
- Provide analytical insight to complex problems ensuring that all issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in QA engineering with a strong emphasis on manual testing. Proven expertise in manual test case creation test execution and defect management.
- Expertise in designing and executing manual test cases for both functional and nonfunctional testing. Strong understanding of exploratory testing and regression testing techniques.
- Proficiency in desktop application testing using Appium or similar. Proficiency in web application testing using Selenium Playwright frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Azure infrastructure including VM creation networking and storage configuration.
- Strong ability to manage and execute tests across multiple operating systems.
- Exceptional English communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Experience working in an Agile environment reviewing user stories and providing feedback to ensure clarity and testability.
- Strong understanding of desktop and webbased applications their architecture and best practices in QA for each.
- Familiarity with load testing and security testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a distributed team while being highly organized and able to manage testing across multiple environments.
- Demonstrated passion for delivering highquality software and features in fastpaced environments.
- Proficient in using bug tracking tools like JIRA and reporting test results effectively.
