Personal Attributes Education & Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline i.e. MSc BEng BSc (Hons) or similar.
• Able to communicate and demonstrate leadership on specialist subject matter.

Position Recommended Qualifications Experience & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of work experience of which at least 5 years must be related to upstream offshore sector. Project Experience in a similar role with an Oil and gas Operator is an advantage.
• Experience and knowledge of Subsea systems in deep and shallow water.
• Familiar with the relevant international standards and Codes of Practice.
• Intimate familiarity with subsea system manufacturing onshore testing offshore installation commissioning direct operations support and trouble shooting.
• Basic understanding and/or working experience in all engineering disciplines such as mechanical electrical and instrumentation process structural piping subsea and pipeline
• Experience in Planning and Scheduling Cost Control methodology and industry practices
• Deep knowledge of industry IT tools (Primavera and others)
• Understand Engineering/Procurement or Construction sequence logics flow of information
• Understanding project estimate and manhour estimate methodology
• Working experience in Southeast Asia or China is an advantage.

Position Role and Responsibilities

• Act as subsea project engineer for coordination of project scheduling reporting preparation of associated tooling and rental equipment.
• Support to subsea manager subsea lead and engineers as project engineer.
• Ensure interfaces between project Contractors and other stake holders are effectively managed. These include Operations Subsurface Drilling Completions SPS and SURF.
• Review and understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the project including scope of services project execution plan proposal/project schedule (including manpower plan and rental tooling/equipment from contractor subcontractor and/or component suppliers)
• Prepare activity plans to accomplish all work required by the procedures and to ensure that sufficient planning resources are provided.
• Maintain accurate schedule and control curves in an updated condition
• Analysis schedule & cost trends and produce regular forecasts of schedule & cost performance and issues for project review
• Maintain awareness and understanding of relevant systems operated by other departments
• Perform any combination of administrative duties as required
• Participates in internal and external management and project meetings review and disseminates minutes of meetings and information pertaining to the issue discussed

HSE

• Quality/HSE Focus and team oriented.
• All works conducted will be done so in a safe manner utilizing all safety equipment / procedures and PPE necessary to complete the specific work.
• Play active role in all HES related areas.

Other Skills

• Complete necessary documentation as and when requested.
• Review SPS SURF and Topsides Contractors documents.
