We are currently seeking motivated and skilled gynecologists to join our network in Norway.
As the demand for specialized gynecological care grows, we are looking for professionals who are interested in relocating and contributing to patient-centered care in clinics across our country.
In Norway, gynecologists typically work in outpatient clinics, women’s health centers and hospital-based outpatient units. They provide a range of gynecological services, from routine examinations to managing complex conditions, ensuring comprehensive care for women of all ages.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including pap smears, breast exams and pelvic assessments.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of gynecological conditions, such as reproductive health issues, menstrual disorders and menopause-related concerns.
- Provide consultations and treatments for patients dealing with infertility, hormonal imbalances and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
- Perform minor procedures, such as biopsies, hysteroscopies and IUD insertions, within the clinic setting.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care doctors and obstetricians, to ensure continuity of care.
- Offer patient education and counseling on topics like contraception, family planning, and preventive health measures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research when relevant.
Professional requirements:
- Medical license and specialist approval in gynecology from an EU country.
- Minimum two years of experience as a specialist.
- Experience working in outpatient settings is preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse range of patients and conditions with a patient-centered approach.
- Strong English language skills, and motivation to learn Norwegian for professional integration.
