Job Description
Location: Troy MI (Only locals)
POSITION TITLE: UI/UX Developer
Duration: 12 Months
Day 1 onsite job and need local candidates
Major Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive scalable reusable performant and testable frontend solutions in Typescript React (and/or Solid)
- Contribute clean reusable polished code not oneoff solutions
- Participate in code reviews pair programming and peertopeer learning
- Test debug and perform QA
- Design professional stateoftheart UIs with close attention to detail
- Proactively innovate to improve the code and the user experience
Knowledge and Education
- Advanced CSS expertise
- 2 years Typescript experience (highly recommended)
- SolidJS and/or Svelte
- Other web frameworks (Vue Angular Knockout)
- SSR
- WebAssembly
- Material UI
- AG Grid
- Vite or NextJS
- MobxX Recoil or Jotai
- Responsive CSS
Work Experience
- 5 years of frontend development and/or UI/UX work experience
- 2 years building polished performant frontend applications and applying best practices in frontend architecture
- 2 years using React with a deep understanding of core principles including hooks state management and performance optimization
Skills and Competencies
- Working knowledge of Typescript
- Commitment to clean code principles
- Practical knowledge of design patterns data structures and API design
- Ability to translate and document business needs into technical requirements
- Strong UI/UX aesthetic sense and an eye for detail
- Proficiency in CSS and HTML
- Creativity and initiative
