Job Description

Position: Helpdesk Support IV
Pay Rate: $25 $29 per hour
Location: Midland TX
Work Setup: Onsite
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM


Role Details:

Key Question:

  • Will they be the only person in this role
    No they will work with two other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Support in Midland: Supports all users in the Midland office.
  • Equipment Management: Prepares and sets up laptops monitors and docking stations for new employees; assists with office moves.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Provides initial troubleshooting for software and hardware issues including PCs and laptops.
  • Occasional Travel: May need to travel to other office locations using an Oxy loaner vehicle.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Hardware Installation and Delivery: Set up and deliver new computers monitors docking stations and accessories.
  • Loaner Laptop Maintenance: Clean wipe reimage and reload laptops in the loaner pool.
  • User Equipment Moves: Disconnect relocate and reconnect equipment within the office.
  • User Transfers: Assist with data copying backups and equipment transfer for users relocating between offices.
  • Warranty Repairs: Coordinate with Dell for repairs including disk memory and battery replacements.
  • Computer Imaging and Setup: Unbox stage and image computers following client processes.
  • Inventory and Asset Management: Maintain accurate equipment records and stock inventory.


Technical Skills Required:

  • System Image Deployment: Windows OS image deployment experience.
  • ITSM Ticket System: Familiarity with ticketing systems for tracking issues and tasks.
  • Hardware & Software Troubleshooting: Proficient in troubleshooting and repair for PCs laptops and basic Outlook & Microsoft applications.
  • Other Duties: Additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
