Cyber Security Analyst
Mumbai India
The Organization : This role is central to supporting cybersecurity practices across 20 global offices and contributing to the company s commitment to digital security excellence. Reporting to the Senior Cybersecurity Manager the Cybersecurity Analyst will enhance security by addressing vulnerabilities across people processes and technology.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in planning and implementing strategic cybersecurity initiatives to strengthen the security framework.
- Participate in crossfunctional teams to address specific security gaps identified in assessments.
- Ensure compliance with international cybersecurity standards and frameworks in all operational areas.
- Conduct evaluations of cybersecurity practices to identify gaps and propose enhancements.
- Document and recommend improvements to security frameworks and controls to bolster resilience against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate security best practices into processes and IT projects.
- Support monitoring of security access logs and alerts escalating detected threats for prompt containment.
- Gather and analyze threat intelligence to inform preventative strategies and bolster security.
- Communicate actionable intelligence and insights to stakeholders reinforcing the organization s defensive actions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT security field.
- Proven experience supporting the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity policies and practices.
- Knowledge of security tools and systems such as:
- Nextgeneration firewalls (NGFW)
- Extended detection and response (XDR) platforms
- Softwaredefined wide area networks (SDWAN) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
- Security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Endpoint and vulnerability management solutions
- Experience with cloud security in Azure AWS or GCP environments.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security CEH or SSCP Familiarity with international frameworks like ISO9000 ISO270001 or PCI/DSS and Certifications in Azure AWS or GCP is nice to have.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex security systems.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
