Job Description
- Manage daily SWIFT message processing including payments trade finance and securities transactions ensuring timely and accurate handling.
- Monitor SWIFT systems for operational issues perform routine maintenance and collaborate with IT for system upgrades and troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to SWIFT compliance standards AML/KYC regulations and implement risk controls to secure transaction processing.
- Conduct daily reconciliation of SWIFT transactions promptly resolve discrepancies and prepare operational reports for management.
- Work closely with departments such as Treasury Payments and IT to optimize SWIFT workflows and provide guidance to team members on SWIFT protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Business Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SWIFT operations within a financial institution.
- Proficiency in SWIFT messaging standards (MT/MX) and payment processing systems.
- Strong understanding of compliance (AML/KYC) and risk management in SWIFT transactions.
- Excellent problemsolving skills attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
- Preferred: Experience with SWIFT Alliance Access SWIFTNet and knowledge of ISO 20022 standards.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Resident of Kuwait.
