Job Description
This is a remote position.
The Estimator responsible for preparing and managing detailed project estimates contributing to bids and supporting seamless project handovers. This is a remote role suited for a proactive individual with a robust network in the building and construction industry.
- Prepare and manage comprehensive estimates for a variety of building projects including commercial fitouts heritage restorations and government projects.
- Attend tender meetings participate in bid preparations and contribute to project acquisition.
- Develop and distribute tender packages to subcontractors and suppliers ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Review and analyse subcontractor quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Accurately price jobs based on provided scope drawings and specifications.
- Conduct handover meetings with project teams facilitating smooth project transition and execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients subcontractors and suppliers to support project success and client satisfaction.
- Leverage an extensive network of industry contacts to secure competitive pricing and expand business opportunities.
- Stay current with industry trends advancements and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in estimating software experience with Cubit is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients attend meetings and collaborate with internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proven experience as an Estimator with a minimum of 3 years experience.
