As a Global Collection Manager at SoftwareOne, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our global collections processes. This position is essential for maintaining the financial health of the organization by improving cash flow and minimizing bad debt. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collection strategies, collaborating with regional teams, and nurturing positive relationships with our valued customers. Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be to devise and execute top-tier global collection strategies aimed at improving cash flow and reducing bad debt. You will supervise and analyze global collection processes, ensuring they are continuously improved and executed with precision. Working closely with regional collections teams, you will share best practices to ensure consistency and optimization across all processes.
Building effective communication and problem-solving skills is vital as you cultivate positive relationships with key customers, collaborators, and team members. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the various markets where we operate. Regular reporting and presentations for management regarding the performance and status of collections activities will also be part of your duties.
Moreover, you will proactively identify and address any potential risks within the collections process, ensuring risk mitigation and positive outcomes during audits.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in collections, preferably within a global context, is required. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with collections software and tools are essential. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities are necessary to navigate this role successfully. Finally, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in additional languages would be advantageous.
