Located in middle Michigan Covenant HealthCare is seeking a highly motivated Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join and expand our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be a team player who is dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

Job Description:
  • Can only accept certification from ABOS (American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery)
  • Covenant HealthCare is seeking a fellowshiptrained BC/BE Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon to work full time alongside a 10physician team in Saginaw MI. Supporting specialties include trauma sports pediatrics hand (plastic surgery) podiatry.
  • This position would be joining another fellowshiptrained Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon.
  • You will play a pivotal role in providing specialized care focused on polytrauma acute fractures complex joint injuries fractures of pelvis and extremities nonunion and malunions bone infections and other musculoskeletal traumas for patients of all ages in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
  • Your expertise in diagnosing treating and surgically managing complex conditions will contribute to improving the quality of life for patients coming into our trauma center.
  • Call Responsibility equates to about 4 calls per month
  • This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to advancements in Orthopedic Surgery.

  • Open to H1B candidates but cannot accept J1 waivers

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Excellent compensation package based on MGMA standards and experience base salary is at the 50th percentile of MGMA. Provider may submit salary expectations with presentation.

Requirement description :
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (05 years of residency) in Orthopaedic Surgery from ABOS REQUIRED
  • Active MI license (or in process of obtaining) HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Fellowshiptrained in Orthopaedic Trauma REQUIRED
  • 2 years of work experience in Orthopaedic Trauma PREFERRED
