Job Title: Manufacturing Support Engineer
Location: 14901 Deveau Place Minnetonka MN 55345
Job Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Support Engineer to provide direct support to our production team in a medical device manufacturing environment. This position requires handson involvement with production processes troubleshooting equipment and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities- Production Equipment Evaluation: Assess and validate production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Production Support: Provide onsite support to operators assisting with manual assembly and troubleshooting as needed.
- Process Validation: Validate and improve manufacturing processes ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Documentation: Generate and modify manufacturing process documentation including protocols and reports.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to develop and implement process improvements.
- Defect Investigations: Conduct investigations into manufacturing defects and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Education: Bachelors degree required; engineering degree highly preferred.
- Experience: 13 years of experience in medical device manufacturing is required. Operations line support experience is essential.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical understanding and familiarity with material interactions.
- Problemsolving skills particularly in root cause analysis.
- Experience with SAP or Windchill is a plus.
