Job Description

Successfully transition primary packaging opportunities for customers including:
o Barrier shrink bags
o Thermoforming films (flexible and semi rigid)
o VFFS & HFFS films for variety of applications
o Lidding films
o Rigid packaging (barrier & nonbarrier trays cups)
o Stand Up Pouches Premade bags/pouches in variety of formats
o Miscellaneous primary packaging (papers folding cartons labels EPS trays)
- Create and execute territory development strategy with field management.
- Work closely with Equipment Specialists to ensure consumable sales with equipment sales.
- Develop and maintain suppliers to support local territory and SupplyOne.
- Train sales force and internal staff on Food Packaging related matters – products processes equipment suppliers and food processing environments.
- Assist local merchandisers and purchasing agents on identifying and aligning suppliers – especially for PMP opportunities.
- Attend regional & national association meetings.
Qualifications (What you’ll need to be successful):
- 20 years of food packaging experience ideally within flexible packaging
- Experience working as the quarterback “specialist” between sales and the customer
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and external partners
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Ability to travel as needed within an assigned region
