The Keller Group is seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting with extensive experience managing AP functions. This role is responsible for overseeing daytoday accounts payable operations ensuring accurate and timely payments developing team capabilities and implementing process improvements to support the company s financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounts payable operations including vendor invoice processing payment approvals and disbursements.
- Manage the AP team providing guidance training and performance evaluations to foster a highperforming team environment.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls accounting policies and procedures to maintain integrity and accuracy in AP processes.
- Collaborate with procurement finance and other departments to improve AP processes and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and optimize cash flow by managing payment schedules and prioritizing payments to maintain healthy vendor relationships.
- Lead monthend and yearend AP close processes including reconciliation of AP subledger to the general ledger.
- Prepare and present AP reports KPIs and analysis to support management in decisionmaking.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency accuracy and effectiveness of AP operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including 1099 filings and tax reporting for vendor payments.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 57 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 23 years in a supervisory or management role focused on accounts payable.
Strong understanding of AP processes general ledger and GAAP.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members vendors and crossfunctional departments.
Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role, focused on accounts payable. Strong understanding of AP processes, general ledger, and GAAP. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members, vendors, and cross-functional departments.
