ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a Direct Hire Civil Engineer opportunity for wellestablished Indianapolis Engineering firm that has been in operation for over 25 years. This firm of over 50 employees focuses on transportation site development inspection surveying and rightofway in the state of Indiana. In addition to their company benefits they work hard to invest in their community and each year they are a part of several community initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Civil design in roadway grading drainage utility and site development projects.
- Produces engineering documents by developing construction specifications plans and schedules.
- Build excellent communication skills with project team government agencies and clients
- Determines project costs by calculating labor material and related costs.
- Produces engineering documents by developing construction specifications plans and schedules.
- Utilize time efficiently in completing tasks accurately on schedule and within budget.
- Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress inspecting construction site and verifying calculations and placements.
Requirements
- Degree Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- 1 year or more of experience in Design of Civil Engineering Projects.
- EIT or PE license preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation and similar engineering software recommended.
