As a proactive member of our team, you will reach out to potential business partners to drive new collaborations for Plastic Bank’s innovative sustainable solutions. Your primary focus will be on identifying, qualifying, and securing opportunities across diverse sectors, including consumer goods, packaging, and retail, that can leverage our sustainable plastic initiatives. By building enduring relationships with clients, you will establish a robust sales pipeline and consistently exceed performance targets. Your ability to conduct thorough research will allow you to identify prospects who align with Plastic Bank’s mission, enabling you to tailor your outreach to resonate with their sustainability objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are a self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, driven by results and capable of working independently. Your initiative sets you apart as you strive to exceed sales targets. While some experience in outside sales is advantageous, your passion for business development is paramount. A proven history in outbound sales or business development roles will be beneficial, especially if you have experience in sustainability, the circular economy, or social enterprises.
As a sales enthusiast, you relish the challenge of outbound sales and excel at cultivating relationships that lead to meaningful business partnerships. You possess strong stakeholder management skills, confidently engaging with a variety of internal and external parties, including C-Suite executives, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) teams, Research & Development (R&D), Marketing, Procurement, and Legal departments.
You are committed to lifelong learning and possess a natural curiosity that drives you to continuously enhance your skills. Whether through reading, coursework, or formal sales training, you actively seek opportunities for professional growth. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for success in this role, enabling you to articulate our value proposition effectively to prospective clients.
Additionally, you should have 1-3 years of experience in software sales or related technology fields. This technical background will help you navigate discussions about our solutions and how they integrate with prospective partners’ needs.
