Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Component Responsible Engineer to join our team focusing on the development and maintenance of nonmoving engine components for nextgeneration heavyduty vehicles. As part of the Base Engine department you will work crossfunctionally and contribute to developing worldclass combustion engines for sustainable transport solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical delivery and maintenance of assigned components ensuring all requirements are met.
- Drive activities for harmonizing component solutions aligned with system roadmaps.
- Collaborate with purchasing operations quality teams and suppliers to optimize design and development.
- Contribute proactively to technical roadmaps with innovative solutions and ideas.
Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Sc. or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in designing casted components in metal or plastic.
- Proficient in Creo; experience working crossfunctionally as a component responsible.
- Strong technical interest and a collaborative approach to developing integrated component solutions.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and a positive teamoriented mindset.
