Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst 2
Location: Remote within the State of Texas
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Review analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Formulate system solutions in alignment with overall business strategies.
- Engage in business process reengineering and identify new technology applications to improve business effectiveness.
- Utilize industrystandard business process mapping and reengineering techniques.
- Prepare solution options risk identification and financial analyses (e.g. cost/benefit ROI buy/build).
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs program functions and steps required to develop or modify systems.
- Provide oversight of vendor work and ensure alignment with project requirements and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage the successful delivery of system enhancements.
Minimum Requirements:
- experience as a Business Analyst.
- experience working with Texas Medicaid systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate business systems and user needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- experience working on Information Technology projects.
- knowledge in software development processes and practices.
- experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
Special Considerations:This role will involve working on ARPAfunded projects providing critical enhancements to support Long Term Care and ancillary applications. The Worker will report to the Director of Medicaid ITContracted Systems and play a key role in the delivery of multiple system enhancements.
